Gloria (December 2001)
A programme of music based on the text of the Gloria, including settings by Vivaldi, Haydn, Rachmaninov, culiminating in John Rutter's Gloria, accompanied by the Mornington Brass Ensemble.

Summer Music (June 2001)
A concert featuring a selection of negro spirituals, Italian and English madrigals, and twentieth-century British music, including music by Britten, Monteverdi, Bennett, Sund and Hogan, performed in St Stephen's Church, Dublin. Special guest Teresa O'Donnell (harp).

Walton, "Belshazzar's Feast"; Adams, "Harmonium" (May 2001)
The Mornington Singers were invived to join the Guinness Choir for their 50th anniversary concert in the National Concert Hall, Dublin, singing the semi-chorus in "Belshazzar's Feast", directed by David Milne.

St. George's Church, Belfast (Feb 2001)
Our first Irish tour saw the choir visit Belfast to much critical acclaim. The first half included music by Palestrina, Victoria, Viadana, Byrd, Schubert and Rachmaninov. Highlights included Mawby's Ave Verum, Tavener's Song for Athene, Handel's Zadok the Priest and Parry's I Was Glad.

In the second half was Fauré's Requiem with soloists Fionnuala de Burca, soprano and Manus O'Donnell, baritone, accompanied by organist David Leigh.


O Magnum Mysterium: A Christmas Fantasia (December 2000)
A concert of twentieth-century Christmas music, including works by Vaughan Williams, Tavener, Holst, Pärt and Busto. Our first concert with Rosemary Collier.

Three Choirs Festival, Hereford (August 2000)
The choir performed at the prestigious Three Choirs Festival in Hereford, England, the first Irish choir to do so. Our last performance with conductor John Page.

Bruckner, Mass in E Minor; Rachmaninov, Vespers (June 2000)
A performance of Bruckner's Mass in E Minor and Rachmaninov's Vespers, with soloists Caitríona Ní Dhubhghaill, Stuart Kinsella and Ewan Cowley, and organist David Adams.

Mozart, Requiem (April 2000)
A concert with the Dublin Symphony Orchestra, featuring Mozart's Requiem, with soloists Fionnuala De Búrca, Léan Ní Chuilleanáin, Stuart Kinsella and Ewan Cowley, performed in the Pro Cathedral, Dublin.


Wolcum Yole (December 1999)
Christmas music of the twentieth century, including Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" and "Rejoice in the Lamb", Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms", and music by Pärt, Poulenc and Gorecki. This was the choir's first concert with conductor John Page.

The Full Monte (June 1999)
A summer evening programme of Monteverdi madrigals and his Mass for four voices. The choir's final concert with its co-founder and first conductor, Shane O'Shea.


A Mornington Christmas (December 1998)
A candlelit evening of Christmas music and poetry, performed in Trinity College Chapel and Waterford City Hall.

Opera classics, with the Three Irish Tenors (November 1998)
Sponsored by Van den Bergh Foods, this was the choir's first performance in the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

Mozart, Mass in C Minor; Mendelssohn, "Hebrides" Overture; Beethoven, Symphony No. 7 (June 1998)
A collaboration with the Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra.

Camera Della Morte (March 1998)
A concert of a capella music and readings on the theme of death, performed in Trinity College Chapel.


J.S. Bach, Mass in B Minor (December 1997)
The choir's first performance, held in Trinity College Chapel and featuring soloists Ailis Tynan, Rosemary Collier, Petrina McAleer, Stuart Kinsella and Andrew Redmond, directed by Shane O'Shea.
